Please note that TWC products do not contain any bacteria but is rather a passive, prebiotic water treatment that provides the critical carbon source and a habitat for naturally occurring beneficial bacteria. These assist in resetting the nitrogen cycle so that organic waste in the water can be naturally processed and cleaned the way nature intended. While it can be useful at times to supplement with bacteria to get quicker results, the ideal solution is to allow the naturally-occurring bacteria already in your water system to populate the blocks.
